Well, if it isn't The Batman.

Yesterday, in the dark of night, Matt Reeves took to Twitter to provide a camera test of Robert Pattinson in the Batman suit.

This seems to be par for the course with the most recent DC projects, as both Birds of Prey and Joker both posted these camera tests just prior to exterior filming - giving a controlled look at the outfit prior to paparazzi photos all over the net.

Quick thoughts: It might just be the lighting, but I'm feeling strong Daredevil vibes. The suit looks far more tactical than any previous incarnation and I'm not personally completely sold on the bat logo on the chest just yet. However, seeing it in action could be entirely different than just this sort of quick peek.

I appreciate that each filmmaker really tries to put their own stamp on the outfit and it doesn't seem too similar to any previous costume yet. Pattinson does look great though.

What I LOVED though was the hints of Michael Giacchino's new score for the movie. There's a darkness that's typically not present in his work that I really enjoyed - it feels like something different. But the brassy sound near the end harkens back to the Elfman music from the Burton films so I get the feeling that he's going to be pulling from influences from all sorts of different versions of Batman music and I cannot wait to hear it in full.

Now let's get some villains! I legit cannot wait to see Paul Dano's Riddler.
